DE LUXE THEATRE.
To-night -The King of Kings" will bo screened at tho De Luxe Theatre. Some idea of the unique magnitude and lavlshness of the scenes liv "The King of Kings" is Bulucd from a consideration of the fact that for one sequence De Mille was obliged to reconstruct the whole crowded city quarter of Jerusalem, showing the marts, tho flanking alleyways, the long side passages, (he curious overhead niches or balconies, and (he different levels or terraces of the building construction. Another stupendous setting was the Temple of Herod, which necessitated an army of carpenters.working day and night for ono month. This great undertaking, however, is completely dwarfed by tho giant structure representing the Judgment Hall of Pontius Pilate. Jluch of tho picture is in colour, and this adds a note of vividness to the remarkable sequences. A beautiful music score will be played by the Orchestra De Luxe, and thero will bo appropriate music from the Wurlitzcr. Tho box plans are now open at The Bristol and Altken's Book Arcade. Early reservations arc advised.
