"No decision has beon made in regard to the future -of the Government steamer Hinemoa," said the Secretary of Marino (Mr. O. C. Godfrey) yesterday. Mr. Godfrey added that the Hinemoa had been handed over to the External Affairs Department for Island work, but that Department had no further uso for her now that the- new steamer, Maui Pomare, was in commission. Although the Hinemoa had been in commission . for over fifty years, she had been so faithfully built that the hull was still in good order, and sho was still a serviceable ship. '
