. ♦ A smilo went round tho Magistrate's Court to-day when Garlic Bitossi, after pleading guilty to having failed to renew his radio license, complained that ho could not got any satisfaction at call out of his set. "I can't got Christchurch oven," he added. "If you nave your set you must pay the license fee," said Mr. ■ E. Page, S.M. A fine of £3 was imposed. On similar charges, Arthur James Smith was fined 10a and Harold P. Poolo £1.
