POSITION FROM CRUISER

((Received 2nd June, 11 a.m.) MONTREAL, Ist June. Word was received at 11.11 a.m. stating that the Hilo Station was in communication with the airplane, which was taking bearings. A later message said.: "Have enough gasoline to reach Wheeler Field." The airplano had then been in the air over 26 hours. (Received 2nd June, 10 a.m.) VANCOUVER, Ist June. A mutual wireless message was received stating that the Southern Cross had got bearings from the cruiser Richmond and reported that land had been sighted.
