Ernost Mays, borough overseer, at Northcote. Ho ap- . pcased his hunger, and had a shave | and a bath. He opened the gas meter and stolo £5 in cash, also dress trousers and a complete outfit of clothes. Hedid some shopping in Northcoto, his purchases including boot blacking. The police have been recalled to search in tho city.
