ITALIAN EMIGRATION
(To the Editor.) Sir,— May I beg of your courtesy to rectify the error contained iv the cablegram from Sydney which appeared in your issue of the 28th inst, and in which it was stated that 1200 Italian emigrants arrived by the Italian steamer Maria Christina? I had good reason to doubt the correctness of that figure, and I cabled to rqy colleague to know the exact number. I have now received a reply to the effect that they are 250.—1 am, etc., M. BLUNNO, Consul of Italy.
