RURAL CREDITS
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PAHIATUA, This Day. A largely attended meeting of farmers was addressed by Mr. S. J. Smith, of Masterton, deputy supervisor of the Rural Credit Board. The chairman, Mr. G. IT. Ifodd, president of the Farmers' Union, in proposing a hearty, vote of thanks, complimented Mr. Smith on his address. He said that it was not a political question, and he considered it genuine effort on the part of the legislature to assist those hard up against it forming an association. It would eventually prove a great blessing. ■
