A carpenter, J. W. Gardner, who lives at. the Grand National Hotel, Petone, was admitted to the Hospital late last night, suffering from injuries to lvis head and his left leg. He was riding a motor-cycle in La.rn.btou ■ quay when he collided, with a tramcal-, his ■ brakes"failing to act. Furniture will be sold by auction iit Sih'crstcme and Co.'s auction mart, 108, I Cuba street, at 2 p.m. to-morow.
