PEACOCK IN THE DOUBLES Australian Press Association—United Service. (Eeceived 22nd May, 3 p.m.) PAEIS, 21st May. In hard-court tennis championships in the first round of the doublos, Torralva (Chile) and Edouard Borotra (France) defeated J. Peacock (New Zealand) and Guillemot (France), 6-4, 6-4, 6-3. Borotra displayed most brilliant strokes, recalling those of his famous brother.
