A Press Association telegram:fromPalmcrston North states that a special meeting of the Manawatu Golf Club last night passed a resolution recommending the adoption of a scheme by C. H. Redhead, adviser to the New Zealand Golf Council, for improvements to the Hdkowhitu links. The estimated cost is £700 to £800. The weekly dance in the New Century Hall will be held to-night from 8 to 12. Details are advertised by the "All Red" I Dance Committee.
