FLOODS IN AMERICA
MUCH SUFFERING CAUSED Australian Press Association. (Received 28th April, 1.30 p.m.) MONTREAL, 27th April. A message from Atlanta, Georgia, states that floods caused by torrential rains have taken seven lives, while hundreds of people are suffering from exposure in many sections of Alabama and Northern Florida. Six thousand people will bo rendered homeless until tho waters recede.
