Edgar Wallace's dramatic productions, "Tlio Itiiißcr" and ,"Tho Terror," have hocomo as popular as his hooks and success has boon won in Australia by the company headed by Maurice Moscovitch. "The ltini:or," which will be Hid first of the dramatic presentations, will be staged at tho Grand Opcm House on .Saturday, 12tli May. and is described as a most exciting play. The audience is thrilled and thrilled again by rapidly succeeding dramatic scenes, but there Is sufficient humour in this mystery play to relievo tUo tension. Jn snnio of Ilio scenes, particularly Iho one lv which Moscovitch (representing Maurice Melstcr). It. rises to dramatic, heights. It is a wonderfully clever creation, this Maurice Mclstor as played by Moscovltch. Tho ilranni Is paTticularly well constructed and Is Interpreted liy a very capable company, including l'atrlc Curwim, cast as Dr. Lomond; Nut Madison, who lias made n special study of the part of Samuel llncldtt, the ex-coiivlcl; Ashlon Jarry, who plays Ilio part of Detectlve-lsncctor llllss of Scotland Yard; Itcglnald Ncwson, Divisional Detective-Inspector Wcinliiiry, D.5.0.: Miss Mary .MacCrcgor, who plays the part of Ooni Ann Milton and gives a true presentation or v somewhat difficult rliaruclcr. An outstanding member of tho company Is Valrle Ciirwcn. a noted London actor, especially engaged to play the part of Dr. Lomond, Divisional Surgeon of Scotland Yard.
