SENIOR FIXTURES For the first series of senior Rugby football matches, to be played on Saturday, the draw 'has been published. The games for the following Saturday have also been drawn, and are aa follows :— . . '• ■ Senior A. —Old Boys v. Petone, Athletic Park; Poneke .v. University, Newtown Park; Wellington v. Marist, Wakefield Park;, Berhampore v. Eastbourne, at Eastbourne; Oriental v. Athletic, Kelbum Park. Senior B. —Oriental v. Training College, Prince of Wales Park; University v. Selwyn, at Kelburn Park; Johnsonville v. Porirua, at Porirua; Welling-' ton v. Hutt, at Hutt! MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. Tho question of grounds at Petone was among the matters dealt with at this week's meeting of the Wellington Eugby Union's Management Committee. A roport was mada that tho rent of grounds on the Petono Bocreation. Ground had been raised by the Borough Council. The union's position in regard to these grounds had become such that the advisability of acquiring a ground of its own at Petone might be worthy of consideration. Discussion on the subject took place in committee. . A letter of thanks was received from tho Olympic Council for tho union's effort on behalf of tho. fund to send a team to the Olympic Games. The Primary Schools' Union also thanked tho union for its assistance to the game in tho schools.
