Bridgemaii, First Lord of the Admiralty, in answer to a question, said that tho New Zealand Government in 1!)24 undertook tho entire management of the oil-burning cruiser Dunodin, instead of tho coal burner they had maintained sinco 1920. New Zealand' in 1925 further undertook the entire management of a second oil-burning cruiser, and more recently had made a generous contribution of one million sterling towards the Singapore Base. Mr. A. E. Brown: "Is there, a, British cruiser at Samoa, in addition to Now Zealand1?" ■ Mr. :-Bridgcman said that he did not think so, but would like notice of the question.
