The following forecast was Issued at 9 a.m. to-day for the ensuing 24 hours:— Winds—South-cast to cast winds; fresh in places from Cook Strait northwards, but elsewhere light to moderate. Barometer—Llttlo movement. Seas—Kather rough in places on the cast coast north of Kaikotira; elsewhere moderate. Tides—Good on the cast coast north of Castlepoint and south of Timaru; poor on the west coast from Cook Strait northwards; moderate elsewhere. Weather —An isolated shower or two in the far North, but practically fine generally, with cold night and warm day temperatures. Monday, 19th March, 1928.
