The underwriting is proceeding of £103,000 of 5 per cent, debentures for tho City of Wellington, £100,000 of which is for the paving and surfacesealing loan of 1927, redeemable on Ist March, 1941, and £63,000 for the footpaths loan of 1927, 'redeemable on Ist March, 1950. The issue price is 98, and interest is payable on Ist March and Ist September. A coupon for 35s is due on Ist September next.
