FOR COUNTRY GOLT? CLUBS 'J,'hc New Zeatand Golf Association lias made a good start in connection with arranging visits o£ professionals to the country clubs. John Lambie commences his tour on Monday at Bulls, where bo remains till the Ist April. From the 3rd to the 9th April lie is at Te Kuiti, from the 10th to tho 16th at Otorohanga, from the 18th April to Ist May at Hawcra, from the 2nd to the 7th May at Wavcrley, from the Sth to the 14th at Patea, and from the 15tli to the 28th at Hawera. He goes to Wavcrley again from the 20th May to the 4th June, Hawera from the Sth to the 18th, and Takapau from the 20th June to the 3rd July. Dates for the remainder of the season will be booked later, but it will be seen from the present arrangements that he is teaching every day except a few days lost in travelling, from the 19th March to the 3rd July. ' . It has been arranged that James Watt will do a circuit of clubs in the Far North on behalf of the association on the same terms as Lambie acts on. Watt's_ clubs will probably comprise Whangarei, Kawakawa (Bay of Islands), Dargaville, Tauranga, Matasiata, Morrinsville, Thames, jTe Aroha,: Te Awamutu, and probably I some others. These plans mean that arrangements have, already been made for coaching at sixteen clubs which could not otherwise get professionals.
