CANADA'S STATUS
QUESTION OF APPOINTMENT (United Press Association.—Copyright.) ! OTTAWA, 15th March. Replying to Mr. J. S. WoodswoTth (Lab.), Winnipeg) the Premier, Mr. King, denied any intention to make a change in the International Joint Commission, as previously reported. The treaty creating the Commission was in harmony with Canada's status. The appointments were in the hands of the British Government under the treaty, but Britain intimated that Mr. King Would most certainly be advised by his Canadian Ministers in regard toappointments. . • . . .
