QUEEN'S THEATRE.
"Open Kango," adapted from Zuno Grey's story of the samo name, Is tlio principal feature at the Queen's Thoatro. I.aiio Chandler, a newcomer to tho screen, wlio promises to bocome a foremost Western star, plays tlio part of Tex Smith, a handaonio cowboy, wlio falls In love with a poster portrait of tho liosluhh at Marco cattlo settlement's . aiinlvor/iary celebrations. His quost of the lady leads him into many strange adventures. Unwittingly ho aids rustlers to steal tho town's cattle, then ho saves tho heroine (Betty Bronson) from a runaway wagon, and Is hunted down as an outlaw. How he restores tho cattle, using them to stampede attacking Indiana, and finally proves bis innocenco, Is revealed In a stirring climax. Tho second feature is "Tearing Through," In which Itlchard Valmadgo shows himself as a "stunt" actor of unusual morlt. Most of the action takes place In San Francisco's Chinatown district, and there are many exciting happonlngs. There are cxcoltent 'supports, and good incidental music is provided.
