Proceedings Will be opened with an address from Mr. A; Gray, X.0., president of the NeW Zealand Law; Society, after which the lawyers will be accorded a civic reception. The reading of papers aiid tho discussion of remits received from the district law societies will then occupy the time of tho conference. , Acceptances to attend the conference liaye beeli received from about practitioner^, and it is expected, that the visitors Will include between SO and 40 womeli. It is not yet known if the Attorney-General (Hon. $.. J..tiolleston) will be ablo to attend the conference, but tho Solicitor-General (Mr. A. Fair, K.C.) will bo there.
