AUTOGRAPHED BAT SOLD
NEW ZEALAND TOUR RECALLED (A.P.A. and "Sun.") (Received 30th January, 0 a.m.) LONDON, 29th January. A cricket bat autographed by the Neif Zealanders in 1!)27 realised 55 guineas for the benefit of the Alexandra Orphanage, Hampstead. The highest bidder was Sir Edgar Bowring, who presented the bat to the Orphanage Cricket Club.
