EMPRESS THEATRE

"The Missing Link." Syd. Chaplin's latest side splitting comedy," is having a successful run at the Empress Theatre. Chaplin takes a job as a luggage carrier to Lord Dryden, who is on his way to Africa to hunt for the gruesome "Missing Link." What ludicrous and breath-taking adventures follow among jungle creatures can well be guessed by those who know Syd. There are head-hunting savages, a fiendish chimpangee, monkeys galore, lions, and in the midst is Syd., shaken by unholy fear, and the love of a young lady who believes him really to be what he knows he can never be—a hunter of big game. Exclusive pictures of incidents in connection with the ill-fated Tasman Sea flight are also shown.
