In the first innings yesterday the local team made 361, and the visitors continued this morning with two wickets down for 20. The third wicket fell for five, the fourth f r sixteen, and the fifth for fourteen, the score then being only 85. The innings closed for 99. With 263 up make to win, the visitors followed on and made a better .showing, the first two men putting on 75 for two, but all were out for 153.
