OLD HALL BURNT

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HAMILTON, This Day. The old Ngaruawahia Municipal Hall, situated just over the railway line, was practically destroyed by fire early yesterday morning. The outbreak occurred in a front corner of the building, but was got under control. Three and a half hours after the first outbreak the brigade was again summoned to the fire, which had broken out again at' 4 a.m., and after considerable difficulty suppressed the flames. A third outbreak in the same building occurred at 7.40 a.m., doing extensive damage to the hall, which is very old. It was insured for £400.
