GUN-RUNNER CHASED (United Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received 28th January, 2 p.m.) • SHANGHAI, 27th January. The Czecho-Slovakian steamer Praga, en route from Manila to Tsingtao, was attacked by a Cantonese gunboat off the Shantung coast, and a three-hour running fight ensued. On arrival at Tsingtao it was stated that the Praga carried ninety thousand rifles and several million rounds of ammunition ordered by Chang Chung-Chang, Military Governor of Shantung, through a German firm.
