TWO FIRES
(By Telegraph.—Pi-ess Association.) TAUMABUNUI, 27th January. A houso at Hikimutu, owned and occupied by L. Hourigan, was destroyed by fire yesterday while the occupa.its wore haymaking. The insurances wore: <On the house £600, on the furniture £150, and on the washhouse £30, all ii\ the State office. K^irly I his morning a four-roomed cottage, occupied by C. Hall, at Manunui, was destroyed. The insurance amounts to £.130. "with the State office, and £200 witli the New Zealand Insurance Company. There was nothing on the furniture.
