The Ngaluita, which has been recommissioned at Newcastle, is commanded by Captain W. J. S- Eyre. Her deck officers aro:— Chief, Mr. R. Lloyd; second, Sir. T. H. Davis; third. Mr. E. V. Condon. The Karma was recently recommissioned at Auckland with Captain A. Reed in command. The following are his deck officers:—Chief, Mr. H. Evington; second, Mr. N. H. Tearson; third. Mr. R. Allison. Captain J. L. Brlsco has resumed command of the Kaitangata, relieving Captain C. M. Kiixton for instructions. . Captain R. M. Kane is now in command of the Kartigi. ' • Captain A. Murray has. been appointed to (ho command of the Khvitea. Captain W. H. D. Gardner, late of the Walpnri. Is on holiday at Auckland. . Cniitaln A. W. Cmese has been appointed to the Wnlnina, relieving Captain .1, Ryan, who is proceeding Id New Zealand oil holidays. Mr. 11. W. .Tones is now. second offlccr of the Walpinta. Mr. IS. D. Brebncr having been granted holidays. Mr. P. J. Anderson lias relieved Mr. A. It. Nanrarrow as second officer of. the Kakarikl. Air. .T; V. BroiHlhouse has been appointed third ofllcer .of' the Kartigi, and Mr. C. fi. HIM Is proceeding to ,Sydney to , sit for his mate's ticket. Mr. I/, n. Thomas has relieved Mr. A. U. Hardy as third ofllcer of tlie Komata.
