THE MAUI POMARE.
It is planned that the flint shipment of fruit from Samoa by the new Government steamer Maui Pomare will take place in .April. The vessel will ro to Wellington and one of the South Island ports, thence to Auckland aud Norfolk Island, then hack to Auckland. From there she will then sail for Nine and Apia. Each trip is estimated to take five weeks. The first <j.irfro from Apia is reckoned at about 10,000 cases. There will be accommodation on the new steamer for about twenty pas•engers.
