The butchers' annual picnic is being held at Day's Bay on Monday next. The Duchess will leave the Ferry Wharf at 0.45 a.m., and proceed to the bay via Petone, where a call is to be made at 10.15 a.m. A splendid sports programme has been arranged by the committee, and everything has been done to make the day a most enjoyable one for all those who make the trip.
