DISQUALIFIED
A BOWLING INCIDENT (By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.") PALMERSTON N., This Day. A special meeting of the Manawatu Bowling Contro was held yesterday, when a player belonging to one of the Palmerston North clubs was called upon to answer a charge of indulging in unseemly remarks during the recent tournament and disturbing the good fellowship of the other players, thus infringing rule 32 of the D.B.A. After hearing both sides on the matter, it was decided to disqualify the player for the rest of the season. Eule 32 reads: "Any centro shall have power, on inquiry, to disqualify or suspend, either temporarily or permanently, any player who may be found guilty of unfair play; of wilfully altering a bowl after it is stamped by tho official tester of the centre; of using profane or indecent huigu.'igc; of betting on tho result of a game in which ho is a player; or, in tho opinion of the centre, of misconducting himself during a game." The effect of disqualification is that the player cannot be admitted to membership of any club without the consent of the centre.
