BUGGY STILL MOVING

BOUGHT FOR SIXPENCE (From "The Post's" Representative.) NEW YOBK, 28th December. There will be at least one buggy on the newly-paved highways of lowa next spring, drawn by a horse that is known as "some stepper." A business man in that State had a closing-oat sale, and, among the objects offered was a four-wheeled buggy. "What am I offered?" he cried. "One dime," roared someone in the crowd. "Do I hear any more bids?" "You do not," replied the crowd, in chorus. "Sold," shouted the auctioneer, pointing an accusing finger at a man in the crowd. The buyer paid his sixpence, hitched a good-looking maro to the buggy, and drove away.
