FARMERS' UNION MEETS AGRARIAN INTERESTS (United frees Association.—Coprriftbt.) LONDON, 18th January, Frocecdiags at the annual meeting of the National farmers' tfnipn indicated a possible development similar to Australia's by the <<r«irti6h of A separate Farmers' Party. The union decided to instruct the council to consider seriously the selecting and supporting of independent agricultural cfcndiates at the General Election, and ordered the preparation of ft eoJWise policy statement tor a propaganda Campaign. It was revealed that the union already had £11,500 as the nucleus of a political fund.
