CLUB COMPETITIONS The first round of the senior gradi matches in the Wellington Lawn Tennis Association's competition will commence on the grass courts, Miramar, on 4th Feb" ruary, at 1.30 p.m. Each team will consist of four men and four ladies. Each match will consist of three sets, the last set only to be an advantage set. After courts have been allotted, club captains will be responsible for the conduct of the matches, the entering up of teams, and the recording o£ results. The draw for the first round is as fol» lows: —Brougham Hill v. Newtown; Mira» mar Grounds v. Wellington; Victoria Un»« vcrsity v. Thorndon. The second round will be played on lltli February. • THIRD GRADE MATCHES. The fifth round of the third grade inte*» club competition will commence on the Miramar courts on 28th January, at 1.30 p.m. The draw is as follows:—Brougham Hill v. Trinity, Lyall Bay v. Newtown, Rotigotai v. Mitchelltown, Roseneath v. Miramar, Seatoim v. St. Peter's, Hataitai v, Victoria University, Khandallah. • by«, '
