BENZINE EXPLODES

TWO MEN BURNT An explosion of benzine in a motorcar tank through contact with a lighted match resulted in the wall of the office of. the Blue and White Taxi Company, 150, Eiddiford street, Nowtown, being damaged by fire at midnight last night. Cyril Olsen, aged 21, of Auckland, was burnt about the face, chest, and left hand in the explosion, and was admitted to the Hospital, where he is reported to bo making good progress. Henry Halton, of Old Porirua road, Kaiwarra, was also slightly burnt. He received attention at tho Hospital. The building is owned by1 Henry Bryenton, of 28, Eiddiford street, and is "insured in the Standard Office for £400.
