SERIOUS EXPLOSION
| WORKMAN" KILLED IN NBW YORK .(Received 14th January, 3 p.m.) NEW YORK, 13th January. One workman was killed and aiz seriously injured as the result of an explosion of dynamite in the shaft of a subway which is under construction. The charges were left unexploded by an earlier scheduled blast,' and went off unexpectedly, causing considerable damage.
