COMMUNISTS ARRESTED

(United Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received 14th January, 12.30 p.m.) PARIS, 13th January. The Chamber of Deputies, by 310 votes to 227, rejected the Socialist motion condemning the Government's decision to arrest four Communist deputies convicted of sedition. The two deputies, MM. ■Couturier and Cachin, attended the session in the Chamber, but were arrested immediately the House rose and taken away in motors, while their sympathisers cheered.
