SYNOPSIS OF LAST 21 HOURS.

Antieyclonle conditions have continued over New Zealand, hut during Tuesday night a slight wave of relatively low pressure moved across the South Island. Winds have been moderate and variable, but since last night north-west to southerly winds have prevailed, and have freshened south of New Plymouth and Castlepoint. Some scattered showers have fallen in southern O'.ago, but otherwise Ihe weather has remained fair and warm.
