THE SALVATION ARMY.

Adjutant and Mrs. Goffin are directing their last meetings in Wellington for the time being, as they are proceeding to Auckland on Wednesday next. To-night, in the Citadel, a special festival of music has been arranged to welcome the new conductor, Bandsman Duttou (late conductor, Melßourne fttaff Baud) to the band. He is reputed to be one of the best of Australia's fine cornetists, and will play tonight two solos. To-morrow special farewell meetings will be directed. Both Adjutant and Mrs. Goffin will speak at the ; various services, which will be held at 7 and 11 a.m. and 3 and 7 p.m. An important series of meetings will be conducted by Commissioner James Hay in Our Theatre, Newtown, on Sunday. Thirty young men and women, bavins: completed their training in the Salvation Army Training College, are to be commissioned on Monday, Oth, and this will be llieiv last Sunday together. The Commissioner will be supported by Mrs. Hay, Colonel iinil Mrs. Knoll, National Ileadiiunrlcrs Stu IT. Training College Staff, and a host o[ Salvationists.
