SYNOPSIS OF LAST 24 HOURS.
An anticyclone still dominates, though weakening somewhat over New Zealad. since yesterday. Fair to floe weather has continued, but further showers have fallen on the East Coast between East Cape and Castlepoint, and rather cloudy conditions prevailed this morning iv the southern half of the South Island. Moderate south-easterly winds have predominated In the North Island, and light and variable In tho South.
