MEAT FROM SOUTH AMERICA.

The New Zealand Meat Producers' Board has received a cablegram from its representative at Buenos Aires, South America, advising the following shipments to the United Kingdom for the fortnight ended 22nd December, from Argentina and Uruguay:—2s2.22s quarters chilled beef, 8900 quarters frozen beef, 224,250 carcasses frozen mutton, 244,650 carcasses frozen lamb. The quantity shipped to the Continent of Europe during the same period •was as f0110w5:—76,148 quarters frozen beef, 5400 carcasses frozen mutton, 2300 carcasses frozen lamb.
