The Honourable Victor and Mrs. Bruce, who had the assistance during the last two days of Joyce, their Viechanic, finished their journey of 15,000 miles on the Montlhery track in the record time of 220 hours 32 minutes 54 38-100 th seconds, at an averago speed of 60 miles per hour. . The previous best time was that made by Miss Violet Cordery, who covered the same distance in 268 hours 58 minutes 27 81-100 th seconds—an average-speed of 35} miles per hour.
