HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE.
"Mixed Doubles," the< title of-the'Gayle Wycr rerue now .being staffed at His Majesty's Theatre, contains plenty of humour, and cannot fall to amuse. The fun commences when two telegrams become mixed, one relating to a baby, and the other to a dog. The unfortunate Incident almost wrecks the happiness of an aged and loving couple. Sam -Ward, as Hiram Puckerbrush, is the outstanding; performer, and he keeps the audience In a state of merriment. He is supported by a good cast. The first portion of the programme is' devoted to a number of clever skotches, and Is most enjoyable. ' '.';■-■.•
