Fruit: Apples (local), 10s to 12s 6d; apples (Radian), 18s to . 19s 6d; tomatoes <Hut*>i Sd to Is 1b; tomatoes (Nelson), 7d to B%d lb; cherries (local), 5s 6d to 9s: peaches, 5s Cd to 13s; red currants, 4s io 6s box; black currants, 5s box; gooseberries, 2s to 4s box; logan berries, lOd to « ?d chip; strawberries, Is to Is 5d chip; bananas (Fiji),. 30s to 36s case; plums, 4s 6d to 5s 6d box. Vegetables Potatoes (local), 10s to 17s 9d bag; onions (Canadian), 17s to 18s; cauliflower, 3s 6d to 55.6 d case; cabbage, Is 6d to 3s case; peas, 10s to 17s sack; lettuce, 2s to 5s 6d case; spinach, 4s 6d case; carrots, 5d to 9d bunch; parsnips, 6d to lid bunch; rhubarb, 8s to 11s dozen; cucumbers, 2s 6dto 6s 6d dozen.
