MILITARY DEFAULTERS
Breaches of .the Defence Act were dealt with by Messrs. E. P. Crowther and W. H. Coy, J.P.s, in the Magistrate's Court on Tuesday afternoon. Failure to attend drill cost John M'Carthy £5; John Benjamin Daniel], £4; Allan Arthur Lewery £3; William Victor Hargreaves and Kenneth Victor Eeid, £2 each; and Thomas Daniel George and Ernest Eugene Wilson, £1 each. Bernard Dennis Claney, who failed to register,, was fined 10s.
