LABOUR DEMONSTRATION.

To-morrow evening at 8 o'clock in the Empress Theatre, a demonstration agaiust the Government's amendment to the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act will be held under the auspices of the Labour movement in Wellington. Strong opposition to the measure will be voiced by speakers, who will represent the political and industrial wingß o£ the Labour movement, and a demand will be made for the withdrawal of the Bill. The meeting will be addressed by the fbllowing: Mr. H. E. Holland, M.P., Leader of the Opposition, Mr. J. Roberts, secretary of the New Zealand Alliance of Labour, Mr. R. Semple, president of the New Zealand Labour Party, and Mr. W. Bromley.
