LARKIN REFUSED A SEAT
(Eeceived 15th October, 2.30 p.m.)
LONDON, 14th October. The "Daily Herald" says that after receipt of counsel's opinion on the Electoral Act, 1923, the Speaker decided not to allow the Communist, Mr. James Larkin, to take his seat on the ground that he is an undischarged bankrupt. The newspaper "Irishman," the official Labour organ, states that the Labour Party intends to take no action in regard to the matter.
