LAMBING SEASON
SUCCESS IN OTAGO
(By Telegraph.)
(Special to "The Evening Post.")
DUNEDIN, This Day. It is generally stated that the lambing season in Otago is quite good, and at this stage such a declaration can be made with confidence. In some districts percentage is as high as 120. It is understood that after a careful examination the inspectors in tho Bervice of the Agricultural Department's Livestock Division are of the opinion that "pulpy kidney" is not so generally troublesome as it was last year. The favourable weather of' the past fortnight has been a great help to sheep farmers, and they are not complaining about the rain that set in on Thursday afternoon, but rather welcome it.
