The time is rapidly approaching when the Pageant 6f Industries will be holding !n?ynrf the f Tr\ Hall> aß the culminating effort of the New Zealand-Made Preierence League to rouge the public spirit in the direction of buying goods made in the Dominion whenever there is a choice in the matter The pageant will extend from 25th to 29th October, and has been designed to stimulate pride in the breasts ot JNew Zealanders in the progress that their country has made during the comparatively short, time that it has been a settled British possession. Synchronising with the pageant will be a display in shops, to the number of over 300, of goods wholly manufactured in the country, and the shopper will be exhorted to give preference to what: New Zealand has manufactured for her Bons and daughters.
