BASKETBALL

♦ The members of the local brauchcs of the Anglican Girls 'Club Society spent a pleasant afternoon *at Miramar, when a seven-aside basketball tournament was held. The following clubs each entered a team: St. .Peter's (senior and junior), St. Thomas's, St. Cuthbert's, St. Mary's, All Saints', and St. Aidan's (senior and junior). After a keen contest St. Mary's proved themselves superior, and will hold a shield until next season, when it will be competed for again. This shield and . the trophies won at the inter-club tournament recently held at St. Thomas's will be presented at a social gathering next month. N
