PARIS, Ist October. «. ** Tsn>P»" say 9 that a member of the Chamber of Deputies' Finance Committee during a meeting on 29th September pointed out that the FrancoAmenean debt agreement expired on «Jlst January, and the temporary Fran-co-British agreement expired in June. He asked whether the Government was postponing a settlement until next Parliament.
M. Poincare, expressing regret that the question had been raised, revealed the beginning of fresh negotiations. The Ambassadors at London and Washington had already received instructions, of which he refused to disclose the nature.
